Ceramics: Pottery vase from the Louise Nevelson Estate
Interesting pottery vase / urn from the estate of Louise Nevelson. One of 3 pieces in stock from the personal collection of one of the doyens of the mid century art scene. Renound sculptress and artist. Most noted for constructed sculptures. The vase has a redish glazed band around the middle of the piece. Grey clay in bisque state for the rest of the bdy of the piece. A number of small chips and breaks. This is the condition we acquired it in. Measurements are 12″ H x 11″ Diameter. Signed on the bottom. Very good conditions with noted flaws.
