Amrita known as Dutsi or Mendrup in Tibetan also spell Dhutsi are Blessing Substance in English. Dutsi are made during ceremonies involving many great Lamas for many days known as drubchens.
Mendrup/Dhutsi are small medicinal pills prepared in very elaborate ritual ceremonies lasting for months with intense prayer that goes on for about 8 day and night. Dhutsi is also known as “the remedy for the fearful state of death or the elixir of immortality”. Tibetan take the pill every time one suffers any ailment also lot of the practitioner takes few pills early morning for blessing. Dutsi pills are said to promote physical and spiritual wellbeing.
