Brass Melong #6

Melong is a Tibetan term that means “mirror”, or “looking glass”. In the tantric tradition the mirror represents the true essence of primordial being, the constant, unchanging base of existence. The ever changing reflections that play across the mirror are ephemeral – fleeting and in all their coming and going, appearing and disappearing, the mirror itself remains unchanged.
Traditionally the melong is hung from a bhumpa (ritual vase), dadar (ritual arrow), or placed on one’s shrine. Made of Brass and comes in three size.

Small: 2.1″ diameter

Med :   3″ diameter

Lg.  :     3.75 diameter
