Ceramics: Harris Strong 12 Tile Wall Hanging

Rare and unusual 12 Tile Wall hanging by renowned New York City and Maine Potter, Painter, Printmaker, Weaver Harris Strong. Sight measures 24″ wide x 18″ tall. Mounted on Board. Unsigned but has the characeristic acorn hangers. This has been depicted in catalogues and books about Harris Strong. Scene depicts a reclining water buffalo beside a thatched hut. Condition is very good. There are several very small flea bites along the edges of some tiles. There are no apparent cracks or hairlines. The frame is in very good condition.
