Fine Bone Ceramic Tibetan Tea Cups made in India by Tibetan Refugees.   Cup adorn with a Tibetan traditional opera performer, called Ngonpa, with a description of Ngonpa symbolism and significance in Tibetan culture.    Comes with lid with a painted rounded opera mask.  

Size: 3.75″tall with 3.2″diameter.

Fun fact:  Dance and music are considered one of the traditional ‘5 minor sciences’ in Tibetan culture and tradition.  Tibetan opera, among other traditional performing arts are taught & preserved by the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts founded in 1959 through the vision of HH The Dalai Lama.
