Table: Conant Ball Double Dropleaf Table in Maple, Russell Wright
Rare Double Dropleaf Table designed by Russell Wright for Conant Ball Furniture. The table measures 42″ wide x 18″ long x 30.5″ high with both leafs down. The length increases to 42″ with one leaf open and 66″ long with both leaves open. This table is from the 1950s. It shows some wear and the top should be refinished but it is quite usable as is. Under each leaf is two legs that swing out to support the table top when it is open. The entire table is made entirely of clear, solid maple. The top can be repeatedly refinished or stained. We have refinished and sold numerous pieces of Conant Ball and Paul McCobb’s Calvin Line furniture in the past. The pieces look amazing with either a good sanding and just a clearcoat or with a slight tinting to bring out the original color of the piece. The table is in Excellent condition.
